Assessment 101
Assessment 101 is a training and professional development program designed to provide foundational assessment skills to staff across our division. This flexible, self-paced hybrid program consists of both asynchronous and in-person components. Through canvas modules and workshops, participants will learn the essential concepts of assessment including writing objectives and learning outcomes, choosing the right methodology, using results to inform programs and services, basics of survey design, a primer on focus groups and interviews, and how to leverage technology for assessment. When you complete Assessment 101, you will be able to begin measuring and evaluating the success of your programs within your department.
