Assessment RESOURCES
Building a culture of evidence in Student Affairs hinges on expanding assessment capacity (Wise & Aaron, 2015). To achieve this, Student Affairs Research and Assessment (SARA) offers a comprehensive Assessment Toolkit, along with year-round professional development (PD) and training. We offer both structured workshops and informal support, including 30-minute Assessment Consultations. These consultations offer staff an opportunity to collaborate with SARA team members and seek guidance on their assessment projects. Additionally, SARA offers more structured PD on developing foundational assessment skills, on incorporating student-centered assessment practices, on leveraging Qualtrics and Niner Engage, and on applied assessment strategies and skills through our assessment learning lab, Assessment Snackables.
We recognize that fostering a culture of evidence requires a team approach. By equipping our division with essential assessment skills, we make integration easier for everyone. Find a comprehensive list of resources and upcoming professional development opportunities below.
